I am a Depth Psychotherapist! I am interested in promoting Holistic care of Mind, Body and Spirit connection. I graduated with an AAS degree in Physical Therapy from NYU in 2000. I have been employed at Advent Health (formerly Florida Hospital) for the past 21 years. I have worked in the Rehabilitation Department/Physical Therapy for 20 years as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and a Wound Care Specialist. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Rollins College; then I pursued a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University. I obtained a Ph.D. in Depth Psychotherapy with an emphasis in Psychoanalysis from Pacifica Graduate Institute. MY two careers have merged, and it is from my work with patients of breast cancer and lymphedema that the topic for my dissertation emerged. -: "Healing Shadow - Sexual Dysfunction after the Dismemberment of a Mastectomy" I love to work with my hands and I know how important it is to health the whole body through psychotherapy and therapeutic touch. I am also trained in Myo-fascial Release Techniques, and I plan to incorporate this in my practice to heal trauma. I engage patients in a therapeutic relationship, and I have created the sacred space necessary for healing psyche. This partnership is necessary to help patients give voice to their narratives and interpretations of their human experience. The journey of unraveling the destructive defenses helps them to gain insight from the unconscious which leads to healing and transformation. I am that psychotherapist who will go into the depths with my clients and hold space for them as they work on whatever shows up for healing. I am passionately committed to helping my clients to be anxiety free, stress free and I am here to help them wake up to their full potential so they can have meaningful relationships in all aspects of their lives. My rate is $120 per intake session + $80 per regular session
