My intro ...As a passionate mental health therapist with 30 years of experience, I specialize in guiding individuals through the often challenging terrain of trauma. My approach is grounded in empathy, a touch of humor, and a belief in the inherent strengths of every individual. Healing can be serious work, but I also believe that laughter can be a powerful ally on this journey. I hold a masters degree in clinical social work and have extensive training in trauma-informed care and various therapeutic modalities, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My strength-based approach focuses on identifying and amplifying your unique abilities and resilience. Together, we'll uncover the tools you already possess to navigate your path to healing. I genuinely enjoy working with a diverse range of individuals, specializing in adults facing a variety of challenges. Whether you’re brand new to therapy or an experienced therapist yourself, I welcome the opportunity to collaborate. I am here for anyone seeking support, whether it’s to address a life transition, grief or loss, relationship stress, neurodivergent challenges, or any other concern. My experience extends to working with healthcare professionals, law enforcement, first responders, and military personnel, where I apply my specialized training to address the unique challenges faced in these high-stress professions.
My rate is $225 per intake session + $175 per regular session
