My intro ...Hi, I’m Krista! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Calm-ish Counseling, a woman-owned private practice located in the heart of Downtown Monroe, NC. I specialize in working with adolescents/teens, women navigating life’s challenges, and parents who are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or just over it.

My rate is $150 per intake session + $125 per regular session and I offer a sliding scale

I offer a non-judgmental, empathetic space where you can fully be yourself. I'm not a "nodding therapist", I will meet you with compassion, I’ll also gently challenge you to grow and take steps toward your goals at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
